The Hewitt Rd Safety Project in Ypsilanti Township is nearly completed. Our contractors have finished removing the old pedestrian crossing at Burns Ave and new asphalt has been placed. The new pedestrian crossing at Harding Ave is open for pedestrian use. Additionally, pavement markings have been placed.
The remainder of the project includes final yard restoration. This work is expected to be completed this week, weather permitting.
