Harris Road Concrete Work is Shifting North

By July 19, 2018Project Updates

Starting Monday, July 23 (if the weather cooperates), Bailey Excavating, our Harris Road project contractor, will be working on concrete curb and gutter on Harris Rd between Forest Ave and Holmes Rd. As a reminder, you will not be able to drive where they are pouring concrete or on freshly poured concrete (for up to 3 days). If your driveway is blocked, you will be allowed to park temporarily on the street until the concrete has cured.

Bailey Excavating will be back in a few weeks to pour concrete sidewalks and driveway approaches in this area. We will send out another update before that work begins.

In addition, DTE and its contractor will begin work on the underground facilities required for street lighting. They will start between Michigan Ave and Forest Ave and then move north as the concrete curb is completed.

If you have any questions, please contact Matt MacDonell, project manager at macdonellm@wcroads.org with any questions.

Thanks again for your patience and have a wonderful weekend.
