Geddes Rd: Worth the Wait

Unfortunately, the construction at the Geddes Rd Bridge Project in Superior Township has been delayed again due to our contractor’s schedule. Their new plan is to begin construction mid-August. In the meantime, the concrete bridge structure is being fabricated offsite (see below for an example).

Once the work begins, the bridge will be closed to ALL traffic and a detour will be posted. Construction is expected to take approximately 3 months to complete.

Thank you for your continued patience. If you have any questions concerning this project, please contact Nate Murphy, project manager and bridge engineer, (734) 327-6647, murphyn@wcroads.org.
