We continue to make great progress on the Geddes Rd Resurfacing Project in Ann Arbor and Superior Townships. We finished pulverizing the old roadbed this afternoon. We have started grading and compacting the freshly ground surface in preparation for paving.
If the weather cooperates, we are planning to start paving on Monday, April 26. Paving will be delayed if it rains (or snows) and will resume once the roadbed has dried properly. The road remains closed to through-traffic. People who live or work within the project limits will be provided access to their properties during paving but we ask that they travel west to east on paving days. For example, next week if your house is on Geddes Rd near Hickman Rd, enter the work zone from N. Dixboro Rd and travel east to your home.
