From a Bird’s Eye

By August 22, 2019Project Updates

Things are about to get even more exciting on the Huron River Drive D2 Segment of the B2B trail project in Scio Township. We are hoping to have the pre-cast bridges delivered in early September, ready for placement. The bridge delivery will require short road closures on Huron River Drive, we will send out advisories ahead of these closures. Each closure will last for a few hours.

Please be advised that the general public is not allowed in the construction zone, even when workers are not on-site, this is still a work zone and not safe for the general public. We know everyone is excited about this project but please stay away, in the interest of safety, until it is completely finished.

If you have questions about the construction project, please contact Jason Voigt, project manager, (313) 434-4601, [email protected].

This project is part of the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission’s Border-to-Border Trail Network in partnership with the Huron Waterloo Pathway Initiative. The Washtenaw County Road Commission is involved with this project to help administer federal funds from the Transportation Alternatives Program Grant.
