E. Delhi Rd and Maple (Foster) Rd Bridges: One Step at a Time

E. Delhi Rd Bridge (Scio Twp): The E. Delhi Rd Bridge Rehabilitation Project has been delayed due to weather issues the contractor is experiencing on an unrelated project. We will send out another update once the bridge is officially closed. Our contractor has been working on getting equipment ready to move onsite once the closure begins.

As a reminder the bridge will be closed to ALL traffic for approximately 2 weeks during rehabilitation – including river traffic and non-motorized users. ALL traffic will be required to follow the posted detour route or seek an alternate route.

Maple (Foster) Rd Bridge (Ann Arbor Twp): We are making great progress on the Maple (Foster) Rd Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Last week divers were on site to install grout bags around the pier to help prevent material erosion around the foundation.

In addition, our contractor has removed the approach guardrail and is continuing to remove the existing pavement in preparation for the curb work.

As a reminder the bridge remains closed to ALL traffic for approximately 12 weeks during rehabilitation – including river traffic and non-motorized users. ALL traffic will be required to follow the posted detour route or seek an alternate route.
