WHERE: Sylvan Road between Heim Road and Old US-12 in Sylvan Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, July 18, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Sylvan Road between Heim Road and Old US-12 in Sylvan Township for preventative maintenance.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately 2 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
