WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Parker Road between Scio Church Road and Dexter-Chelsea Road on the border of Scio and Lima Townships for preventative maintenance.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately 2 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
