Curing with Blankets

By November 5, 2019Project Updates

Thanks to a dry weather window, our contractors poured the remaining concrete on Ann Arbor-Saline Road in Pittsfield Township Saturday. We are now waiting for the concrete to cure to traffic-bearing strength. We have added blankets (see below) over the concrete sections to help them cure faster. Once the concrete has cured long enough, we need to saw/seal the joints and place pavement markings before the road can be reopened.

It is still very important for vehicles of all kinds to stay out of the work zone. We are doing everything we can to get this project completed as soon as possible.

If you have any questions concerning this work, please contact Michele Ford, project manager, (734) 327-6652, or via email at [email protected].
