As of right now, construction of a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Pontiac Trail and 7 Mile Road in Salem Township is set to begin next week. Starting Wednesday, June 10, 2020, the intersection will be closed to traffic. Access to the Corner General Store will be provided from the east. Click here for the posted detour map.
Message boards will be posted near the intersection in the next few days to warn drivers of the upcoming closure. The start date could change due to weather or other scheduling conflicts. If that happens, the message boards and the project web page will be updated.
