Slowly but surely, we are making progress on the remaining items in the Cavanaugh Lake Rd Resurfacing Project in Sylvan Township! This past week, we placed pavement markings along the newly resurfaced section.
We are still waiting on the railroad company to provide a special crew to complete the remaining resurfacing near the railroad crossing. Once started, this milling and paving are expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and contractor scheduling. The road will remain open during this stage of the project but there will be lane closures and a flagger to accommodate the work.
