This week is demolition week on the Cavanaugh Lake Road bridge replacement project in Sylvan Township. Our contractor began dismantling the existing bridge yesterday. Once the old bridge is completely removed, our contractor will begin preparing the area for the new structure.
As a reminder, the road is closed to all traffic during construction including bicycles and pedestrians. Trespassing on the railroad tracks is not ever permissible and is very dangerous. This action could result in a misdemeanor punishable with jail time and/or a fine.
