It has been a very productive few weeks on the Cavanaugh Lake Road bridge replacement project in Sylvan Township. Our contractor poured the concrete bridge deck last week. As the concrete continues to cure, our contractor has started the prep work for the asphalt road approaches.
Once the approaches have been completed, we still need to place gravel shoulders, install the guardrail and apply pavement markings before the road can be reopened.
