Thanks to a great weather window, our contractor has completed paving the curbside (outside) lanes on Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township. They have also finished paving the intersections of Carpenter/Ellsworth, Carpenter/Center Valley and the southern leg of Carpenter/Packard.
In the next few days, we will shift northbound and southbound traffic to the freshly paved curbside lanes and close the center lanes to all traffic. While these center lanes are closed, left turns from the curbside lanes will not be allowed at individual driveways but will be allowed at the signalized intersections.
Once traffic has been shifted, our contractor will mill and pave the center lanes. We expect milling to begin next week, weather pending.
