We are making progress on the Barker Rd Resurfacing Project in Northfield Township. Last week our contractor replaced the crossroad culvert and widened the road.
This week our contractor will begin pulverizing (crushing) the existing road. The crushed material will then be shaped and compacted to create the new road base. Once completed, our contractor will begin paving. All construction is contingent on the weather and contractor scheduling.
Just a reminder the road remains closed to all through-traffic and a detour route is posted.
