We’re still making steady progress on the Textile Road Paving Project in Pittsfield Township. Today, our contractors paved the final layer of asphalt on the road. They also completed the pathway paving late last week.
Now that the pavement is down, there is still work that must be done before the road can be reopened, including, gravel shoulders, driveway approaches (on the north side), traffic signal work, road signs, pavement markings, soft surface restoration and some other punch list items.
We’re certainly getting closer to completing this project, our plan is to reopen the road by the end of August. We really appreciate your patience during this project.
