Last week, we reopened the intersection of Ann Arbor-Saline Road and Wagner Road in Lodi Township. Unfortunately, since the reopening, we have discovered pavement defects in some of the freshly placed asphalt. This type of defect isn’t very common but unfortunately can happen.
Our crews will continue to monitor and patch the defected area until permanent repairs can be made by our contractor. Since we are already planning to return to Lodi Township this fall to finish resurfacing Pleasant Lake Road between Zeeb Road and Wagner Road, our preliminary plan is to pair permanent repairs on Ann Arbor-Saline Road with the paving planned on Pleasant Lake Road.
