The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) resurfacing project on Nixon Rd between US-23 and Warren Rd in Ann Arbor Township is complete!
On September 13, 2025, Ajax Paving, an MDOT contractor working on behalf of the WCRC, completed paving on Nixon Rd. Subsequent work included aggregate shoulders and permanent signs.
On September 26, 2025, PK Contracting placed the pavement markings on Nixon Rd between US-23 and Warren Rd in Ann Arbor Township. PK Contracting will complete a second and final coat of pavement markings at a future date, typically within 2-3 weeks.
All traffic restrictions on Nixon Rd between US-23 and Warren Rd in Ann Arbor Township were lifted on Friday, September 26, 2025.
