Well, Well, Well…We’ve found an Artesian

By September 19, 2018Project Updates

Unfortunately this week we have hit a snag in the replacement of the Sharon Valley Road bridge. While our contractor was constructing the west abutment (base where the bridge will connect), they discovered an unexpected artesian, a pressurized underground water pocket.

We are currently evaluating all the options to minimize the impacts of the artesian flow but this means that the project is now behind schedule. We are hoping to resume construction soon.

If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Jones, project manager, [email protected] or (734) 327-6647.
