PROJECT: Packard Rd Resurfacing Project

WHY: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will hold a virtual project information meeting regarding the planned resurfacing project on Packard Rd between US-23 and Carpenter Rd in Pittsfield Township.
During road resurfacing, Packard Rd between US-23 and Carpenter Rd will be closed to through traffic and a detour will be posted. During the closure, WCRC’s contractor will maintain access only for businesses within the project limits that have no other means of access. All other traffic must use the detour.
Construction is expected to begin after the school year ends. WCRC estimates it will take approximately 6 weeks to complete the project, weather pending.
The virtual public meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. There will be a brief presentation followed by time for questions from the audience. A recording of the meeting will be posted to the project web page after the meeting.
