WHY: Permit work: utility work
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, DTE Gas will begin permit work at the intersection of Bridge Rd and Textile Rd in Ypsilanti Township.
Motorists should expect shoulder, lane & road closures during the utility work. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The utility work will take approximately ten weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
