Over the last 6 weeks, the contractor has completed a significant amount of work at the Shield Rd Bridge. The foundations were completed, the beams were set, the deck was poured and work on the road approaches are in progress. Major items of work remaining to be completed include the road work, bridge railings, guardrail and restoration.
