September 15: Old US-12 Culvert & MPSI

Good morning,

With the start of the Old US12 Culvert Replacement project, it’s been a busy week for our operations crews. Thanks to their hard work, the new culvert and backfill should be placed by the end of today. On top of managing this huge project, our crews continued to work hard at our gravel resurfacing projects and dust control operations.

Next week, a handful of our employees will be attending the Michigan Public Service Institute (MPSI) conference. This program is designed to help instruct supervisors who work in the public service field build strong leadership skills with their employees as well as how to best serve and handle the public. This is an intense, three-year program that a few of our WCRC employees have already completed. If you have any questions about the program or may be interested in signing up, reach out to your supervisor.

It looks like we have a mix of sun and rain heading our way for the weekend. I hope you are able to enjoy the sunshine while you can!

Take care & stay safe,

Sheryl
