While I hope we have many more summer-like days ahead of us, it is certainly starting to feel like fall, especially with the cooler temps this week. I’m continually impressed with all the work we have collectively accomplished so far this construction season. The list goes on and on…
As a reminder, we switch back to our regular hours next week. Our first 8-hour day will be Thursday, September 9. (While I know it seems odd to switch schedules mid-week, we do it to align with the start of the next pay period and keep our finance friends happy.)
Despite this change, we still have one last short week next week, since we are closed on Monday, September 6 for Labor Day. Labor Day was created more than 120 years ago to celebrate and honor the American worker. I’m glad we can continue that tradition and celebrate all of you by enjoying an extra-long weekend.
As always, thanks for all that you do.
Take care and stay safe,
