WHERE: Primary roads with curb/gutter in Ann Arbor, Scio, Superior, Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Street sweeping
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will conduct annual street sweeping on primary roads with curb/gutter in Ann Arbor, Scio, Superior, Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships. Residents are asked to avoid parking on any main street with curb and gutter until this work can be completed.
Street sweeping is a rolling operation, the roads will all remain open to traffic during the work. Please use caution around the equipment. WCRC expects this work to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, May 10, weather pending. Annual sweeping on local roads with curb and gutter will occur in the coming weeks. An additional advisory will be issued ahead of that work.
