WHERE: Chubb Road between 5 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road in Salem Township
WHY: Road reconstruction
BACKGROUND: Starting Wednesday, October 9, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will restrict southbound travel on Chubb Road between 5 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road in Salem Township for phase 1 of the Chubb Road reconstruction project.
On that same day, WCRC will reopen 5 Mile Road between Chubb Road and Napier Road in Salem Township. The final layer of asphalt paving on 5 Mile Road will be completed at a later date.
Southbound Chubb Road traffic will be required to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
