WHY: Bridge Replacement Project
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 30, 2017, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) REOPENED Shield Road between Parker Road and Baker Road in Scio Township.
Work completed during the project included the bridge replacement and road rehabilitation. The Washtenaw County Road Commission offers our sincere thanks to the school district, area residents, motorists, postal services and emergency services who displayed a great deal of patience during the closure of Shield Road.
