WHY: Roundabout construction
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the intersection of Bemis Rd and Whittaker Rd in Augusta & Ypsilanti Townships to construct a roundabout.
The road work is expected to take approximately three months to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
WCRC will maintain access for residents who live, work or own property within the project limits.
