WHERE: Willis Road between Saline City Limits to Carpenter Road in York Township.
WHY: Road improvement – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at approximately 7 a.m., the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE Willis Road to through traffic between Saline City Limits to Carpenter Road in York Township for a chip seal project.
The project is expected to be completed and road reopened by Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at approximately 3:30 p.m. However, please be advised that all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
