On Monday, June 20, 2016, the Washtenaw County Road Commission contractor is scheduled to close Willis Road just west of Chambord Drive/Railsplitter Drive to just west of the bridge over the West Branch of the Paint Creek in August Township. The road will be closed to through-traffic; however access to the Lincoln High School parking lot and residences within the work zone will be maintained. Through-traffic is advised to approach from Whittaker Rd.

The scope of work also includes the replacement of the existing culvert located west of Chambord Drive/Railsplitter Drive.
The Willis Road closure will remain in effect until the project is completed. The anticipated completion is the end of August.  Please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The posted DETOUR for the road closure will utilize Whittaker Road, Bemis Road, Hitchingham Road, Textile Road, and Stony Creek Road.
