WHERE: Warren Rd between Whitmore Lake Rd and Pontiac Tr; Gleaner Hall Rd between Warren Rd and Pontiac Tr; and Joy Rd between Whitmore Lake Rd and US-23 in Ann Arbor Township
WHY: Road reconstruction
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 19, 2026, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the roads below in Ann Arbor Township to perform a pulverize (crush and shape) and asphalt resurfacing project.
- Warren Rd between Whitmore Lake Rd and Pontiac Tr
- Gleaner Hall Rd between Warren Rd and Pontiac Tr
- Joy Rd between Whitmore Lake Rd and US-23
The construction is expected to take approximately ten business days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. Residents who live or work within the closure will have access.
