WHERE: Van Tuyle Road between Lemm Road and Allen Road in Manchester Township
WHY: Culvert replacement
BACKGROUND: On Monday, July 23, 2018, at approximately 1 p.m., the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) CLOSED Van Tuyle Road between Lemm Road and Allen Road in Manchester Township for a culvert replacement.
The road is closed to all through traffic. Local traffic to and from adjacent properties located within the closed section of Van Tuyle Road will be maintained, but no traffic will be able to cross the culvert location itself.
The project is expected to be completed and road reopened by Thursday, August 2, 2018, at approximately 3 p.m. However, please be advised that all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
In addition, WCRC has completed the Henzie Road culvert replacement project and has reopened Henzie Road between Burtless Road and Bowens Road in Manchester Township.
