WHERE: Textile Road between Carpenter Road and Whittaker Road in Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Road improvement – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, June 7, 2018, at approximately 8 a.m., the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE Textile Road to through traffic between Carpenter Road and Whittaker Road in Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships for a chip seal project.
The project is expected to be completed and road reopened by Thursday, June 7, 2018, at approximately 3:30 p.m. However, please be advised that all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
