WHERE: Sharon Valley Road over the River Raisin, between Prospect Hill Road and Lamb Road in Sharon Township
WHY: Soil Borings
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 5, 2017, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will close Sharon Valley Road over the River Raisin between Prospect Hill Road and Lamb Road to order to collect soil borings. This information is necessary to design the foundations for the bridge replacement project, which is scheduled for 2018. The road will be closed to all traffic at the bridge location.
This road closure will remain in effect from June 5, 2017 until approximately June 8, 2017. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The posted DETOUR for this closure is Prospect Hill Road to Easudes Road to Sharon Hollow Road. Local traffic to and from adjacent properties and businesses located within the closed section of ROAD will be maintained.
