WHY: Power line across road
BACKGROUND: On Friday, February 24, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) closed the intersection of Scio Church Rd and Steinbach Rd in Freedom & Lima Townships due to a downed power line running across the road.
The road is impassable at this time. Do not approach the wire. The road will reopen once the utility company can address the issue.
