WHY: Power line across the road
BACKGROUND: On Friday, February 24, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) closed Pierce Rd between Cavanaugh Lake Rd and Bush Rd in Sylvan Township due to a downed power line running across the road.
The road is impassable at this time. Do not approach the wire. The road will reopen once the utility company can address the issue.
