WHERE: North Territorial Road between Hankard Road and M-52 in Dexter and Lyndon Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a chip seal project on North Territorial Road between Hankerd Road and M-52 in Dexter and Lyndon Townships.
The road will be temporarily closed to through traffic. Residents and property owners who live within the project limits will be provided access during the closure, but delays should be expected.
The road is expected to reopen by 2:00 pm on August 28th, however all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is completed, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
