WHERE: Moon Road between Willis Road and Bemis Road in York Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 18, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will begin resurfacing Moon Road between Willis Road and Bemis Road in York Township.
The road will be closed to through traffic during this work. Residents and property owners, who live internal to the project limits, will be provided access to their home or business but delays should be expected.
The intersection of Moon Road and Bemis Road remains closed to all traffic.
The road resurfacing is expected to take one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and other circumstances.
DETOUR: The posted detour for Moon Road will be Willis Road to Platt Road to Michigan Avenue (U.S. 12).
