WHY: Pulverizing and paving
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, August 11, 2026 the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Macon Rd between James Dr and the Saline City Limits in Saline Township for a pulverizing and paving project.
The asphalt paving project is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. Businesses and residents within the road closure will have access.
