WHERE: Lehman Road over Mill Creek Tributary, between Sylvan Road and M-52 in Sharon Township
WHY: Structural deterioration
BACKGROUND: Effective Thursday, May 23, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Lehman Road over the Mill Creek Tributary between Sylvan Road and M-52 in Sharon Township due to extensive structural deterioration of a cross road culvert.
WCRC decided to close this structure after determining structural deterioration during a recent bridge inspection.
The DETOUR for this bridge closure will utilize Sylvan Road to Grass Lake Road to M-52. Click here for a detour map.
A schedule to replace the bridge and reopen Lehman Road at this location is undetermined at this time. WCRC thanks you in advance for your patience as the agency determines the best course of action to address this bridge closure.
