WHY: Soil borings (collecting soil samples)
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30, 2026, a geotechnical consultant working on behalf of WCRC will begin collecting soil borings on Grass Rd between Austin Rd and Sunrise Ct in Saline Twp. This is part of the design process for the upcoming Grass Rd bridge replacement.
As the boring is performed, the road will be closed to thru traffic.
The collection of this field data is expected to take two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
DETOUR: All traffic should bypass the closure using Dell Rd or Parker Rd.
