WHY: Surface maintenance
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Ellis Rd between N. Canyon Dr and S. Canyon Dr in Ypsilanti Township to perform surface maintenance.
Earlier this year, WCRC crews replaced a crossroad culvert at this location. This week, crews will return to perform surface maintenance over the crossroad culvert.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
