WHY: Permit work – culvert replacement for Kimmel Drain
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Sebastian Trucking on behalf of the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commission closed Cherry Hill Rd between Prospect Rd and Berry Rd in Superior Township for culvert replacement for Kimmel Drain.
The culvert replacement is expected to be completed in approximately three weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic.
