WHERE: Barker Rd between the end of pavement and Jennings Rd in Northfield Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 13, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Barker Rd between the end of pavement and Jennings Rd in Northfield Township for a road resurfacing project.
In total, the road improvements are expected to take approximately 4 weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
During construction, WCRC and the contractors will maintain access only for people who live, work, or own property within the project limits. All other traffic will be required to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
