WHERE: Intersection of Liberty Rd and Wagner Rd in Scio Township
WHY: Traffic signal restoration
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 28, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) restored the traffic signal at the intersection of Liberty Rd and Wagner Rd in Scio Township.
The intersection had been operating with temporary stop signs since early August after a storm demolished the traffic signal system and had to be rebuilt.
Minor punch-list items remain to be completed but the signal is operational.
