WHERE: Intersection of Park Rd & Staebler Rd in Scio Township
WHY: Permit – construction continues, lane restrictions
BACKGROUND: The contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be completing additional work at the intersection of Park Road and Staebler Road in Scio Township. This includes applying another layer of asphalt, installing new aggregate shoulders, and placing pavement markings and signs.
While this work is underway, expect lane restrictions, shoulder closures, and a flagging operation to manage traffic.
As of Friday, June 13, WCRC has reopened the Park Road and Staebler Road intersection. WCRC reminds motorists to slow down and move over when construction workers and equipment are present to help ensure everyone’s safety.
