WHERE: 6 Mile Rd between Leota St and Pearl St in Salem Township
WHY: Permit work
BACKGROUND: Salem Township will close 6 Mile Rd between Leota St and Pearl St for permit work.
- Road closure: Friday, August 21 – road milling (removal of top layer)
- Road closure: Monday, August 24 – Thursday, August 27- resurfacing (hot mix asphalt)
The permit work is expected to take approximately four business days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. Access will be maintained only for residents and property owners who live, work or own property within the closure limits.
