WHERE: 6 Mile Rd between Currie Rd and Chubb Rd in Salem Township
WHY: Permit work: storm drain reconstruction
BACKGROUND: On Friday, October 31, 2025, Salem Township has extended the closure by three weeks of 6 Mile Rd between Currie Rd and Chubb Rd in Salem Township for a storm drain reconstruction.
The work began on September 9, 2025, and is now expected to take approximately 12 weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. Access will be maintained only for residents and property owners who live, work or own property within the closure limits.
