WHY: Milling & resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, July 23, 2026, a contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin milling and resurfacing on various subdivision roads between Cross St and Forest Ave, and Harris Rd and the City of Ypsilanti in Ypsilanti Township. The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions.
The asphalt resurfacing work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
