Construction on the Michigan Ave Reconstruction project, taking place between the I-94 westbound off ramp and the Hewitt Rd intersection in Ypsilanti Township, is nearly complete!
On Monday, our contractor completed paving the roadway. However, there are several items that need to be completed prior to reopening the road to traffic. For the safety of the construction workers and the traveling public, the road will remain closed until this work is completed. We appreciate your patience and expect to reopen the road soon.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
